You've probably come across bounties as a common practice in the 1800s. The target is set to be caught for a hunter's reward. It gets interesting as there could be bounty boards which giving information of the target and the reward attached.

Now let's take a quick turn to what bounties are through the lenses of web3.

Bounties are the rewards for tasks carried out by developers, writers, designers etc for their work. In essence, contributions to develop or solve a problem in a project can be made to blockchain projects. The reward system for web3 bounties are through their native tokens.
